The Individualized Funding Coalition for Ontario has a rich history of volunteerism and sharing of gifts and talents by its members and leaders. Education and learning has been important over the years. This has included: bringing learning into Ontario from other jurisdictions; partnering to hold community engagement events so that people and families from various parts of the province can hear stories and examples from others; and sharing lived experience, research and knowledge with government and others.
Hosting or taking the lead with important events and activities, often with the support of partners, has been one of the hallmarks of IFCO. Examples include: a three-day symposium, roundtable gatherings, a workfest weekend, research, capacity building events, time limited projects, and more. Check out the various pages under this tab.
